The research of neuroscientists continues to add to our knowledge of the optimal learning environment (based on Common Core standards). The new knowledge continues to bring about discussion among educators and encourages the review of the methodology used in curriculum development, assessment and instruction. This workshop will explore such topics as how learning takes place within the brain, how to engage the brain, and how emotions, senses, memory and motivation interact in the learning process. Also, you will explore the 12 principles of brain based learning.
