There are now millions of homeschooled students all over the world. Anyone can homeschool, but many parents and educators in the homeschooling or independent study field of education need tools and skills to excel at what they are doing. Shannon Carpenter, Ed.D., founder of Heart of Homeschooling, has been a homeschooling mom to 7 children as well as a California public charter school teacher, administrator, and director for over 20 years. She teaches homeschooling education courses for parents and educators needing professional development credits and/or just wanting to learn more about homeschooling. Each course has practical application for both the homeschool educators and parents alike. Students may earn 2-3 credits per workshop course.
