Cloud Computing for Educators
What is Cloud Computing?
Cloud computing is the delivery of computing services over the Internet (“the cloud”) to offer faster innovation and flexible resources. Cloud services include servers, storage, databases, networking, software, analytics, and intelligence.
Many organizations are shifting from the traditional way of doing business and utilizing cloud computing for the cost, speed, global scale, productivity, performance, reliability, and security. Cloud Computing benefits educators as they are able to use a network of free tools in the classroom that are stored in the cloud where they can be accessed, managed, and processed from any Internet-connected device, rather than a local server or personal computer.
