I was first introduced to Fresno Pacific University in 1988, at which time on-campus weekend and summer seminars were offered for teachers in various subjects, including technology. I was a high school technology teacher, so when asked to teach video production and computer applications, I jumped at the chance. By the mid-nineties I began developing and offering distance learning courses through the Center for Professional Development (now Continuing Education) and have been doing so since. Being part of the Fresno Pacific family is a blessing and one of the more satisfying relationships in my life. Working with teachers across the country has helped me keep in touch with professional trends and the needs of computer-using teachers of all grade and skill levels. I am thankful for the opportunity to offer my courses through a Christian university, as all too often this essential element of education can be lost in all the statistics and gadgets. My wife, Becky, and I enjoy the personal contact we have with students, and have developed enduring friendships with many.

Professional Experience: I recently retired after over 30 years of service with Madera Unified, much of which was spent as a Technology Coordinator until budget cuts eliminated my position, returning me to the classroom.

Favorite Bible Verse: 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 ~ "Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus."
