In today’s multicultural world, educators look for ways to connect with their students and colleagues as effectively as possible. The online Cultural Intelligence in Education course helps educators enhance their cultural intelligence related to education delivery, both in the classroom and in multiple capacities around campus for K-12.

Students learn to engage with people from diverse backgrounds in culturally sensitive ways, exploring the role cultural intelligence plays in their lives and the lives of their students and colleagues.

Through role play, interactive scenarios, videos, and cultural intelligence workshops, the course examines how culturally based beliefs and practices influence teaching, learning and performance. Instructor
Hello! My name is Emma Ilori and I am honored to be the designer and instructor for this course. I hold a Master of Public Health in Health Education degree from Loma Linda University. I have taught cultural intelligence for the FPU DC Health Care Administration program for 5 years. I truly love what I do with teaching others about how cultural intelligence can not only help them more effectively work across different ethnic and organizational cultures, but how much it can grow our minds and help us to see our world and surrounding communities from a new perspective. No matter where you are, or what you do, the ability to grow your cultural intelligence is a valuable tool to have and continue to grow over a lifetime. I hope you enjoy the class!
