This conference is for teachers and administrators, who meet for two days, during which they will delve deeply into the issues involving mathematics educators who empower their students. They will choose from sessions focused around these strands: Increasing Mathematical Discourse in the Classroom, Supporting Productive Struggle in the Mathematics Classroom, Strategies to Develop a Culturally Responsive Classroom, Social Emotional Learning, Strategies for Multilingual Learners, Strategies to Support Students with Identified Exceptionalities, Literacy in the Mathematics Classroom, Formative and Summative Assessment in a Student-Centered Classroom, Leadership Support for Implementation, and Effective Use of Technology in a Student-Centered Classroom.
