Saturday Workshops
IND-1419
Science of Imposter Syndrome with the Brain in Mind
3 Units
$540
Online
Instructor: Maryam Torbati
3/7/26 - Registration for Zoom classes close the Friday before at noon. FPU will notify Dr. Torbati of your registration and she will send out the required reading and Zoom link.
This workshop will be a culturally responsive approach, particularly for educators working with students in the minority communities. I want to help teachers to recognize the signs of imposter syndrome, especially in students who face the added challenges. Through group discussions, journaling exercises, and role-playing scenarios, educators can navigate discussions with students regarding their experiences and offer strategies for students to confront their self-doubt.
After registering, please email the instructor to receive your reading assignments and zoom link: Dr. Maryam Torbati.
