4/11/26 - Registration for Zoom classes close the Friday before at noon. FPU will notify Dr. Torbati of your registration and she will send out the required reading and Zoom link.
Anger is one of the most destructive emotions in students of all ages. The unhealthy face of anger disrupts instruction, creates a hostile environment and the negatively impacts the interactions and emotional well-being of everyone from educators to staff and parents. We need to help educators to understand the anger, the brain under the infulence of anger, the cause of violence and effective discipline. We need to empower educators with knowledge, skills and strategies to help them in becoming more aware of anger outburst, managemnt, and responding to anger. We need to better equip teachers to teach angry students and better equip students to deal with their anger and in addition detailed information on the complex nature of anger & anger realted emotions.
