I knew Canva had a lot to offer, but never had the time to play around with it and get a feel for the interface.  This course was set up in such a perfect way to encourage exploration along with helpful videos and guidance along the way.  I now understand how Canva is set up and ways I can use it in my personal life and teaching to create presentations, flyers, posters, invitations, worksheets, flashcards, and so much more!  I also learned about the AI features and how easily using them to get started on a project can be.  The most valuable lesson I learned was how versatile Canva is and the deeper you go, the more you can accomplish with the program.  I appreciate how quickly Professor Westland graded assignments and gave personalized feedback.  He is incredibly knowledgeable and shares his knowledge in a way that is accessible to everyone.  I will definitely recommend this course to colleagues and friends that want to learn more about Canva.

I really enjoyed this class and learned a lot. As a "more seasoned teacher," keeping up with tech has been challenging for me, but something that I strive to continue to learn. I don't consider myself to be a great designer, but learning how to use Canva has boosted my confidence in both of those areas. I know I will use the skills I learned in Canva for Education in my classroom. Eric is a great instructor. He creates helpful tutorials which he updates as the technology evolves, and he communicates clearly and in a timely way with his students. This was a great experience!

I've learned a lot more about Canva through this course. I had a very basic understanding on how to use the software, but after taking this course I definitely discovered some not so hidden features I was never aware of. I plan on utilizing Canva throughout the next school year for anytime I need to make a flier or poster. I may even utilize it for some worksheet activities. I would love to actually do a project on Canva with my students but my school district is very weird with students using certain software's without going through the proper channels. I'll need to see if Canva is on our approved list of sites they can use. Eric's response time has been some of the fastest I've ever had from a professor in any sort of course I've taken over the years. I knew if I finished a project and submitted it by early afternoon, east coast time, I had a grade within a few hours. Eric also took time to respond to what we wrote. He would even add links or screen shots to help guide you for future assignments. I was recommended this course with Eric through a colleague, and I will also be recommending it to other colleagues as well.

This course was amazing! I enjoyed learning about Canva and the projects assigned were fun to design and all things I could use in my classroom. Excellent video and reading materials were provided that made learning the various facets of Canva easy and the projects manageable. Eric provided excellent and timely grading and feedback. I would 100% recommend this course to my colleagues and now feel equipped to use Canva to create many future projects for my classroom!
