This course helped me better understand the Chromebook experience from my students’ perspective. I use a MacBook Air for teaching, while my students use district-provided Chromebooks one-to-one and take them home. I especially appreciated learning more about Chromebook-specific features, such as the launcher, shelf, keyboard shortcuts, trackpad gestures, and the way files are managed through Google Drive rather than a traditional desktop. I now feel better prepared to support my students as they become more independent and responsible technology users.
