The Tinkercad course was so well designed and scaffolded in a way that I ended up creating things I never thought I could, especially in just a few short modules. The feedback was always quick, detailed, and genuinely personal (with some humor:). I felt like I got to know him through his thoughtful comments. He even made a personalized Screencast to help me fix a few technical issues! I truly appreciate his care, attention, and overall excellence as a teacher.

I had enough instruction through the videos that I was able to complete projects and learn about the Tinkercad interface. Mr. Westland gave prompt, thoughtful and encouraging feedback on my assignments. I got to explore various tools and construct lessons. The final project is something that I am proud of, it has been something that I have wanted to do for a while and it made me feel really accomplished. It was also nice being able to 3D print the objects I constructed on Tinkercad. Hope that other teachers get this experience. It fills a need that I had for a course that many places don't have. I will miss waking up to my assignment feedback.

Although I have worked with Tinkercad for years, Eric Westland's Teaching With Tinkercad class exposed me to applications and tools of Tinkercad that I had not previously used. My students will certainly benefit from what I have learned in this course. The course content and assignments are exceptionally well-organized and applicable to the Art Tech classes that I teach. During the course, Mr. Westland consistently provided grades for assignments and feedback within 24-hours, and often on the same day. Because of my positive experience as a student in Teaching with Tinkercad, I have forwarded information about Fresno Pacific University to the professional development director of my school so that my colleagues will know about the learning opportunities that FPU provides.

This was a great course - thanks Eric for always providing rapid and personalized feedback. I loved having an excuse to spend quality time in TinkerCad and the progression of the projects provided a great framework. I feel confident that the skills I gained through this course as well as the units I developed for the various modules will be a huge help in the fall with my students. I will certainly recommend this course to the other ML teachers in my CTE cohort in the district!
