I really enjoyed this class , I think it is always good to look in the past and learn from it. I found it to be educational and rather rewarding to review life lessons learned by some of the greatest of all time. The work was educational and really made me think outside the box to make content for future lessons I could use.

Taking the Learning from the Legends course, based on The Games Do Count, has been a truly rewarding experience. As a PE teacher and coach at an international school in Tunis, I found the stories of athletes, politicians, and entertainers both relatable and inspiring. Each legend’s journey reminded me that sports are not just about winning games but about building resilience, teamwork, empathy, and discipline — lessons I can directly bring to my students.

The course was well paced and had a manageable workload. I did not enjoy the reading material that went with the course. If you are learning from the legends I assumed it would be within sports or physical education but it was not. It was mainly about politicians and lacked sections on women.
