I recently completed **MAT 938: Desmos in the Math Classroom** through Fresno Pacific Continuing Education, and it was a fantastic experience. The course was well-structured, starting with the basics of Desmos and progressing to advanced applications, all with practical assignments that could be directly applied to teaching. Matt, the instructor, was absolutely amazing—highly knowledgeable, incredibly communicative, and always approachable. He provided clear explanations, practical examples, and thoughtful feedback that made the material easy to understand and implement. I gained valuable skills in creating interactive math lessons, engaging activities, and problem-solving tasks that make math more accessible and enjoyable for students. The course was manageable for a working professional, and I now feel confident incorporating Desmos into my classroom to foster deeper learning and collaboration. I highly recommend this course to any educator looking to transform their math teaching with technology.

This class is great for teachers who are teaching in upper elementary or secondary and want some hands on training to enhance their teaching in math. THe course gave several different opportunities to learn how to use the program and even share with our peers. I would definetly share this course with other teachers looking to enhance their math skills

I recently completed the Desmos in the Math Classroom course, which was transformative for my teaching practice. The course goes deep into Desmos's many features, such as the graphing calculator, activity builder, and pre-made activities, all of which are crucial for creating an engaging and interactive math classroom. One aspect I appreciated most about this course was its practical application. I was encouraged to explore various Desmos activities tailored to math concepts and grade levels. The hands-on approach allowed me to create, customize, and implement Desmos activities that align perfectly with my curriculum goals. I could immediately apply what I learned to my classroom, making my lessons more interactive and engaging for my students.

This course offers a variety of Desmos activities for teachers to utilize in their mathematics instruction. It even challenges us to create our own Desmos activities which can be a little intimidating, but with the resources offered and the continuous guidance by the instructor, Mathew Dummeldinger, it turns out it is a great tool for us to utilize with our group of students. This course is very organized and meticulously planned to challenge us and take us out of our comfort zone when using technology in our classrooms. I really enjoyed this course and I will recommend it to all my peers.
