I really enjoyed the class, I just had a tough time this year because I had a lot going on in my personal life and at first I was going overboard and making it way too hard for myself. In the end I finished up and hope to continue taking graduate mathematics classes at Fresno Pacific University.

MAT-923 Assessing Students' Math is an exceptional course that provides a comprehensive overview of assessment strategies and techniques in mathematics education. As an educator, this course is insightful in enhancing my understanding of assessing students' mathematical learning and the practical implementation of assessment methods. The course covers various topics, including the purposes and types of assessments, formative and summative assessment strategies, designing effective assessments, analyzing assessment data, and providing meaningful feedback to students. The content is well-structured and presented clearly and engagingly, making it easy to follow and comprehend. One of the highlights of the course is the emphasis on authentic assessment practices. The system provides insights into designing and administering assessments that align with real-world mathematical problem-solving and critical thinking skills. It offers practical examples, case studies, and hands-on activities that allow educators to apply the concepts and strategies in their classrooms.
