This course was great. It really helped me look at my own forms of assessment and extend upon them. I always value reading others experiences and seeing what they are doing in their rooms as well.

I really enjoyed the class, I just had a tough time this year because I had a lot going on in my personal life and at first I was going overboard and making it way too hard for myself. In the end I finished up and hope to continue taking graduate mathematics classes at Fresno Pacific University.

This was an excellent course! The assignments helped me work towards understanding how to implement and use different types of assessments. This was my first online course and I was initially worried that it might be difficult to communicate with my professor. Paul Reimer was excellent with communication though! Whenever I had a question he would respond the same day and he graded all assignments within one day of them being submitted. When I need to take another online class I will look at his classes first!

This course explains well the best ways for teachers to analyze student work and offer varying types of assessment. Professor Reimer quickly responds to e-mail questions, grades work in a timely manner and offers positive reinforcement to enhance learning. The assignments or assessments promote critical thinking that will send you on your way to be a better educator than you were the day before. Thank you Fresno and Professor Reimer for offering this course.

I am glad that I have taken this course. The textbook is clear and will serve me as a useful resource. The information is helpful and reading the opinions of other teachers is insightful. The assignments were reasonable and relevant to my teaching assignment. I look forward to taking more courses with Paul Reimer. I liked the organization of this course. Thank you!

This course was very informative. It made me really consider how and why we assess. It made me look at different ways to assess my students to learn about what they know or common misconceptions. I really enjoyed the course.
