I really enjoyed the class! I felt like I learned a lot of practical things that I can take back to my classroom. The coursework enhanced my learning and I found it appropriately connected to the content of the book. The instructor gave me prompt feedback and was very helpful.

This was a great course. I loved the book, Teach Like Finland, it was approachable and had many new ideas for me to try with my students. If you like reading and writing short responses, then you will enjoy this class. I really liked reading about another teacher’s professional journey. He wrote about always working after hours and feeling very overwhelmed in the United States. His teaching in Finland gave him many new strategies for managing work/home balance.

This course was great! Each module built on the previous one, so the assignments were appropriate. I enjoyed reading the book, and I like having a hard copy that I can highlight and refer back to. This course made me self-reflect a lot on my teaching practices as an American teacher, and question whether or not my style is the best I can do.
