The class was not what I was expecting as part of a Computer Science Authorization.

I recently completed CSED-903 (Impacts and Ethics of Computing) and I must say it was one of the best graduate courses I have ever had the honor of being a part of! The instructor was knowledgeable and engaging, and the course content was so thought provoking which is essentially for any ethics course

I particularly enjoyed this course because it pushed me to think deeply about areas involving ethics, philosophy, film, technology and so much more. There was room to personalize the final project which made completing it fun. The professor gives thoughtful and timely feedback that pushed me to keep digging deeper into the content.

Would have been a great class as an undergrad, but with a full time teaching position and learning to teach AP Computer Science and learning a new language, Java, it was difficult to fully commit to a deep dive into ethics.

This was a thought-provoking course and I appreciated all of the feedback from the professor. I have to be honest and say that the coursework was very time consuming. I had to spend about triple the amount of time on this class as compared to other Continuing Ed courses.
