Reflections on what you have learned as a result of taking this course.  I entered this course with some knowledge of WeVideo from COVID but I had only used it sparingly over the past 3-4 years.  I only used the basics when I used WeVideo but this class exposed me to so much more that I did not use and look forward to using more in the future.  My main takeaways will be the use of keyframes for video and audio, motion titles, and the creation of GIFS.   How will your experiences with this course affect your personal or professional life?  For my personal life I would like to start using WeVideo more to create yearly recaps of my family.  SInce I have a better handle on the capabilities of WeVideo, this should also save some time for my personal life since I will be more efficient in using the platform.  For my professional life I look forward to using WeVideo to create GIFS with students and to work on collaboration pieces with them.   What do you feel was the most valuable lesson that you learned and would like to share with others?  WIthin some of the projects I felt some frustration on how to lay things out but I just went back to the videos that Eric created and watched them again.  Concepts usually clicked after that as the videos he made were very thorough and explained the process in great detail.   My knowledge on the subject, timeliness with feedback, and if you would recommend my course(s) to colleagues.  Eric has great knowledge on the subject of WeVideo and technology and his timeliness with feedback was superb.  I generally turned in my assignments late at night and they were usually graded and feedback was given the next morning.  Eric also created screenshots and/or video screencasts in order to help me work through any problems that I was having.  I would definitely recommend this course to a colleague.

With no prior experience with video editing programs this course was perfect for a novice like me. Everything I learned could be applied the next day into my teaching. It added more engagement to the subject I teach (math) and students were quick to grasp the know-how of WeVideo. I highly recommend this course to other teachers, both for its content and the instructor.

The WeVideo course was exactly what I was looking for to assist me in elevating my classroom experience in assisting my students with their WeVideo coursework. I was so excited to absorb the information, that I began using it with my students while performing my own coursework. This was a classroom lifesaver.

This is a comprehensive, well designed course for beginners or those that have experience in the platform. The instructor gave feedback and guidance in a timely manner. He was also very flexible in allowing students to do projects that were usable to them. Highly recommend this course.
