YouTube for Teachers

This YouTube for Teachers course exceeded my expectations of learning with modules covering the various options of using a YouTube channel, videos, shorts, whiteboards, podcasts and more for instructional and interactive purposes. This is a robust course of lessons and tips that I plan to continually review and refer back to as I grow and improve my YouTube skills. Maybe I will just take this course again one day. Ha. Thank you to Eric for his grace, patience, and encouragement in the process of learning online media skills that can be super overwhelming when pushing yourself out of your comfort zone with technology. I appreciate his organized lessons, quick responsiveness & gentle positivity, and well as his own incredible examples to follow.

At first I just wanted to jump into the action and not read all the websites and articles, but now I see it was a very important aspect of the class to see exactly what was available out there and learn more about how YouTube can actually be used to help educate. I feel each module built upon the previous and allowed me to have a lot of success in the final project. Plus, the class not only was informative, but it was a lot of fun!

This course pushed me to create videos that will benefit my students and my future self. I learned a ton about how easy it is to create and add features to a YouTube video. Creating channels and adding content was way easier than I ever envisioned. The professor provided meaningful and personalized feedback every time!
