Mr. Reimer was quick to grade assignments. I appreciated the reminder about the course completion due date. He also gave feedback on my assignments-so I felt he actually read them. I felt the work was challenging and thought provoking. It was not a fluff course. I appreciated his professionalism! I am hoping some more of the certification classes are taught by him.

This was a great course to remove the anxiety that I had towards coding. I thought I would need to be fluent in every programming language in order to effectively teach coding. Appreciated the abundant supply of coding resources. The class assignments are very organized and present an informed look at Coding in the Classroom. The instructor's comments and quick attention to the class were also much appreciated. I removed one star because the class assignments are heavy with reflective writing. I was hoping that some assignments would have allowed for actual coding opportunities across a few different applications. Probably a bias of mine, but I enjoy more tinkering than writing.

I enjoyed this class a lot. I knew nothing about coding, so it was a perfect way to introduce a newbie to the subject. I enjoyed how it was more "what is coding" and computer science first, as teaching or trying to implement something just because is hard without the underlying pieces. The resources provided were nice and I hope to have access to the course in the fall when I am back teaching again so I can review the resources again.
