I enjoyed the course. I particularly appreciated all of the relevant and useful resources that were shared by the professor throughout the course. I also value the resources shared by my peers in the forums, as well as the ones I researched myself to complete the course modules. The assignments are meaningful and ones that I will keep and refer back to in my practice. I think that potential students for the course would like to know that the assignments and projects are not just busy work, but rather there is enough flexibility that you can choose to make them relevant to your own classroom and professional goals. I highly recommend this course AND this professor! Professor Reimer is consistently available to answer questions and assist students. She is always prompt to respond, is super supportive and encouraging, and provides positive constructive feedback when grading assignments.

This class provided a great introduction to coding. There were concepts in this course that I would not have thought connected to coding. I enjoyed learning about all the resources both on the computer and unplugged activities.

I really enjoyed this course! It greatly cleared the clouds from my mind about the mysteries of coding, and I felt infinitely more equipped to teach those concepts to my elementary students. It inspired a change to my curriculum now that I had the confidence to lead my students through more complicated coding lessons.
