The class was an awesome experience. Very informational and helpful in my teaching. The instructor was readily available at all times and answered questions in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend this course to other colleagues.

I loved this class! I probably never would have gone to the town of Bodie, CA but not for this class, and I am so glad I did! I learned so much about another aspect of the Gold Rush I never knew. This class is well worth your time and effort!

This course was a lot of work, but I really enjoyed the information I gained from studying about the ghost town of Bodie. I am excited to pass this knowledge on to my students, and expand on the rich culture of the people who lived in this town. Although this course was a history class, I can see many ways to apply science concepts used in the industry of mining to classroom study. Make sure to incorporate the drive over highway 120 (through Yosemite) on your way to Bodie!
