This was a wonderful course. I appreciated the organization, clarity and options presented with each insect order. I also enjoyed the creative freedom to scope assignments based on interest. I will definitely recommend this program to colleagues and I look forward to taking another course in the future.

While this class was a lot of work, I believe it was extremely valuable in learning a great deal about insects and how they can appropriately be used as a teaching tool, in not only science but as a classwork. I have thought of many cross-curricular activities I can do with the information I learned.

Excellent course with a lot of project ideas that would fit many grade levels. Feedback on assignments was fast and detailed. The instructor was wonderful to work with.

Bugs in the classroom fit perfectly in my development as a teacher. Dr. Cockerham was super easy to work with. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone wanting to take a dive into this field and how to incorporate it into their classroom or future classroom.
