Engage students in the exploration of concepts covering water, air, energy, gravity, electricity and magnetism. Present lessons that encourage students to take a constructivist approach to learning as they develop inquiry skills. Work together with your students as active learners. Increase their understanding of physical science as they manipulate everyday objects and materials found in their environment. Teachers will be provided with background information for each experiment so they may encourage alternative explanations and develop critical and logical thinking in their students. The development of sensory-motor, observation and communication skills is the emphasis at this level. This course requires the free Acrobat reader to open and view course files.
