This book is a really good resource for teachers, and while its target audience is for the lower level grades, it can be adapted to the high school level as well. I have already shared it with my department here at the high school, and if it serves no other purpose for them, it was a good conversation starter for reflection on our practice. It’s a reminder of the categories of the different thinking styles with best practices on how to possibly incorporate them into our own teaching. The only thing that could have made it better for me personally is if it was written specifically for high school PE and all activities given reflected that. I appreciate what the book taught me and will be a nice resource for me when preparing lessons moving forward.

In the end it wasn't really applicable to my career. There were also a few assignments that were difficult to understand what I was actually supposed to do.

I am so impressed with this course! I really appreciate being able to work at my own pace, it removes the stress of deadlines and allows me to fully engage with the material instead of rushing through it. Having the time to carefully read, reflect, and apply what I’ve learned made the experience much more meaningful. I was not only able to retain the information but also put it into practice in my classes, which made it even more impactful.

Great book by Mary Ellen Clancy on Active Bodies, Active Brains. The brain is such a powerful tool and when movement is involved it just magnifies even more.
