Overall, this was a valuable and engaging course that deepened my understanding of how music connects to the brain, learning, and communication. I especially appreciated how the content connected research to real world applications. The course challenged my thinking while still allowing for practical and meaningful application, which made the learning experience worthwhile.

I had a wonderful experience taking the course Music and the Brain taught by Dr. Rich Kriegbaum. I learned a great deal which I can apply in my teaching and also in discussions with administration about the reasons behind teaching music to children (especially our youngest learners). Dr. Kriegbaum was extremely prompt in his responses and grades and added so much in making this course such a great experience.
