This course has completely changed the way I think about teaching and how I want to improve my practice. I learned so many great strategies and got to reflect on so many great aspects of teaching. The class was good amount of work, but it was all very beneficial to me. I am so glad that I was able to read the "Building Thinking Classrooms" book and create meaningful resources that I can utilize in my classroom right now.

It is a GREAT course and really challenged my thinking about how my students are thinking (or lack thereof) BUT... it is a really long and really involved course that I think warrants much more the 3 units.

Great class! You’ve got to read the book and take notes (it’s part of your grade), but the notes were super helpful in completing the other assignments. Definitely not too much work for the 3 units you will earn, and several of the assignments I completed will be used in my classroom right away. I didn’t feel like I was jumping through hoops; it was relevant coursework for sure!
