This course has been one of my favorite I have ever taken. There were so many resources shared that I can use in my classroom, or just to further my own education on the Holocaust. I've been encouraged to assess my students through different types of projects, which I think will capture their attention and help them to retain what they have learned.

This course was incredible. Hands down one of the best classes I have ever taken. I feel each module was incredibly organized and thought through. None of the work seemed like busy work and was not tedious. Everything I learned I can easily apply into my classes I am already teaching. I have some work to do on actually teaching a Holocaust unit or lessons, but this class has given me an incredible stepping stone into how and what I might want that class to look like. This class has encouraged me to continue to take a stand and encourage others to do so as well. Education is power and we need to use it for the greater good. Knowledge of the Holocaust is dwindling and we as educators have the power to change that. I have learned so much from this class and I am incredibly grateful I was able to take such a wonderful course on something I have been so passionate about/interested in my entire life. Thank you for everything Catherine!

Coursework was demanding and required the use of too many different tools that I had never used before. Discussion posts and replies to others are "required" but were not listed as required assignments in Moodle which was vague. Asked the instructor about this and she said to do them. It was still vague to me if I skipped them if I would be penalized. If you have no experience teaching about the Holocaust or you teach Elementary or MIddle school then I think it could be a helpful course.

Holocaust Fiction was a thoughtfully prepared course. I appreciated the diverse choice novels and carefully-selected articles. The modules and assignments were clear and engaging. I enjoyed learning about many new tech tools through this course as well. Catherine Posey is a wonderful instructor who shares a wealth of knowledge and engages us in deeper thinking and thoughtful assignments. I hope to take a class with her again!
