Fantasy Literature has given me so many new ideas to share with my students. They truly enjoy this genre because of their age (6-8th grade). Each assignment within the course sharpened my awareness, and gave me new insight into why this particular element is crucial at this point in their education! It's just fun to delve into the many examples and develop new ways to apply them in my classroom, especially in my Creative Writing and Creative Thinking classes. I truly enjoyed this course.

As someone who has struggled to enjoy the fantasy literature, I loved the freedom of the course and the resources that are provided to help provide a meaningful yet "fun" experience for students. Fantasy should allow for the creativity and exploration of students, and the course helps to promote that experience.

I have truly enjoyed this comprehensive course. This is the fourth course that I have taken with Fresno Pacific, and it is my favorite one. I will take two more courses. The coursework allows for an in-depth analysis of fantasy literary works, as well as strategies for incorporating reading, writing, and responding in the bilingual classroom.

I enjoyed the course, but I do wish there had been more course readings or instructional materials to accompany the lesson planning.

Usually not too interested in Fantasy Literature, I found myself interested in the authors that have been newly discovered, especially Natalie Babbitt. I will be sharing her books with the middle school students I will be teaching in the coming school year (as a substitute teacher).
