This course is designed to assist the high school teacher in better understanding the health issues students confront and often bring to school. The focus of this class is to add to the high school teacher's health knowledge, as well as illustrate ways to integrate health-related topics into the curriculum. Course content includes: wellness, nutrition, alcohol and substance abuse, weight control, and fitness.
