This class was well structured. I learned a great deal from this class and appreciated the assignments. The assignments were useful and practical. Many of the assignments are things that are able to be applied to my own classroom. The professor was responsive, helpful, and encouraging. Well done!

I loved this class because we got actionable, practical advice we could implement in our classrooms right away. I walked away feeling rejuvenated and more confident in teaching reading. If you teach upper elementary and want to gain some very applicable wisdom, this is the course for you.

I love this professor. She is extremely quick to respond to any questions and to grade assignments. I learn so much in all of her classes. I feel better equipped as a teacher from taking each of her courses.

I enjoyed learning about Independent Reading with Professor Warmerdam!! Her quick feedback and encouragement mean a lot to me. I learned a few new strategies, and I cannot wait to try them in the classroom! I hope to take another course with Professor Warmerdam someday. :)

This was a great class! I learned a lot of new ideas of how to implement independent reading in my 11th grade English classroom and it gave me time to develop a plan to use this year!

This course included so many resources that I am able to take back into my library lessons and share with my elementary teachers.

I truly enjoyed this class! The Professor was very encouraging and helpful. The content given was vast and gave so many different ways to help students get into the reading zone. I look forward to fall and implementing into my session time with students!
