A refreshing one since it's been a while that I took an online course. I certainly enjoyed doing the lessons that widened my skills on the technical side. I am not good in constructing sentences, so hopefully my grades would not be affected that much. I am definitely recommend Fresno to my colleagues especially to those who need to complete/renew their ACSI certificate. I am hoping that I could get hold of the transcript in the earliest time possible so I can email ACSI and have my certificate before school starts this fall.

I feel like I have to be honest, and critical about the course material. While I did find value in the activities in this course, I was at first, quite appalled and turned off by the fact that the main course material was dated from 1994. The content in the book may be okay, but it really turned me off at first. I feel like the book should at least be updated, or another book with similar material should be used. Aside from that, it was a good course. The instructor was timely and helpful with any questions I had.

I did a lot of activities from the book but in the busy-ness of full-time teaching and life I did not always take the time to write the reflections. I do understand that this was a "do it when you can" class so overall it was great!

This was class was wonderful. It is so easy to understand and gave very valuable assignments that my students and fellow teachers loved. I enjoy taking a class when their is educational value to it. The activities for the course were decent, and my students enjoyed playing the games. However, I found the format of the course to be very user-unfriendly. Upon first receiving the materials, it was difficult to figure out what exactly was expected for the assignments (as the actual syllabus was buried in the middle of a 50 page document). Another teacher who took a course from the same instructor feels the same way I do. I also felt that, while I learned some fun activities to do with students, I did not gain any real knowledge from the course. I prefer courses that combine theory and practice. I feel that this course was all practice without any of the theory.
