The professor was responsive and the class was interesting. The course could really use some reorganization. Several items across modules were out of order.

The info and instructor were great; however, there were too many resources used. I had to read two books, several articles on websites, and watch a lot of videos.

I really enjoyed this class and got a ton out of it. The books were super practical and ones I can actually apply with my students. The idea of Respect Agreements, Positive Time-Outs and Class Meetings are great ways to foster a respectful, calm classroom, where students are heard. I learned a lot on how to handle behavior without going straight to punishment. As a teacher, learning to find ways for students to take responsibility and learn from mistakes can really make a difference in how they and the teacher respond. I would recommend this course to any teacher at any level. It was realistic, helpful, and a good reminder that relationships are at the heart of every good classroom.

I am so glad that I chose this course. Ms. Kaitfors-Smith had great feed-back and input into my assignments and was great to work with. Overall, this course will impact my approach to my students and my classroom management from here on out. The information I learned is extremely valuable to make a positive impact on the students we teach and to impact their lives in a constructive manner that will help them grow into capable people. I highly recommend this course!
