This course challenged me to think differently about the "what and why" I do as a classroom teacher. I have been forced to re-think many of the traditional approaches that I always believed were best practices. It was a very comprehensive course and I appreciate what I learned!

Strategies to understand and work effectively with students are essential for educators in the modern world. What I've learned from this course is the impetus for a turning point in my career as a teacher. The professor not only has mastered the strategies in this course, he is also very willing to go above and beyond to help students understand and master the strategies needed to be successful with their own students. This course should be required for every educator, young and old.

While the instructor was knowledgeable and provided quick and useful feedback, there were many more assignments than were necessary. The same information could be imparted to the learner without having as many required assignments.

This class will challenge you as an educator and as a person. It has truly changed my thinking and I will forever be grateful for how much I have learned from Professor Jon Morse. If you are looking for the right way to connect with your students, this is it.

This course was amazing. It gives the insights into the behaviors of all individuals and is especially helpful for understanding those children who exhibit undesirable behaviors (withdrawn, frustrated, angry, distracted, etc.). The content is extremely insightful and is perfect for any teaching or personal situation. The professor is very knowledgeable and kind. My only suggestion is to be aware of the amount of work involved. There are 2 books to read and many, many papers. It was intense, but the content was well worth it to me. My interactions with people will be improved for the rest of my life because of taking this course.
