I would recommend this course because it addresses relevant issues in today's day in age that all educational professionals should know about. Moreover, this course digs deep into homework's notions to provide the most sound and up to date research. I really found it beneficial and useful that the additional use of providing examples for coursework was offered.

For a continuing education class this course was extremely difficult. I did reach out to the instructor about my struggles and she was great but the course was very heavy in research paper methods. I was more worried about making sure my APA style was correct, that I got the right quote from the right page, etc. then I was the actual content of the course. I can't say I am walking away with any additional knowledge that I can use in my position or to help fellow teachers. I wish there had been more articles to read to reflect on without the emphasis on providing quotes, having sources, etc. Also the action research paper at the end was a bit much for a continuing education certificate. Perhaps had this been a masters degree course or bachelors but certainly not something for educators just earning continuing ed credits.
