It was a great class and gave me a lot to reflect on! One assignment was particularly daunting (3.2) and seemed disproportionately confusing and in-depth compared to the rest of the assignments, especially given the points given, but it was still a valuable assignment!

This course really helped me in my professional development as a teacher. The workload was not extreme, and the assignments were very helpful. Professor Bonnie was a wonderful help, as well as others at Fresno when I had any issues. I would definitely recommend this course to other teachers.

This was a phenomenal course. Dr. Bon is super helpful with any questions you may have and overall, I can confidently say even as a second year teacher I feel so much more confident based on what I've learned. The textbooks are great resources and all of the assignments were helpful.

Overall, I enjoyed this class. I learned a lot of valuable knowledge and I am glad I took this class. Some of the assignments are geared toward the old version of the textbook, which added some confusion at times. But the professor was great! She was always willing to answer questions and stayed on top of grading pretty well.

I learned a lot from this class. Both texts have become essential for my library. I can definitely see myself grabbing both from time to time. I feel like I have added more to my toolkit and I feel more confident about my first five days now. The professor was really nice and responsive too. It made the class enjoyable.

Loved the book "The First Days of School." This was a great, refreshing way to create and implement strategies and procedures to make the school year smoother. Dr. Bon is responsive, understanding and leaves great, useful feedback. Truly enjoyed this class.

Very much loved and needed this course. I've never taken an online course before so I wasn't too sure what to expect. It's different not being able to communicate with your instructor very much. That being said, Dr. Walker is very communicative and responsive so that's a plus. The discussion forum feels a little bit forced but I did glean a little bit of info and community from that. Overall, a great course and I would be open to another in the future.

I wanted to take a course to take me back to the basics of teaching. Being halfway through my career, I wanted to make sure I haven't become stuck in a rut. This course fulfilled my expectations of reflecting on the basics and challenging me to improve in areas that I may have become stuck in.
