I truly enjoy taking this course. The knowledge and wisdom gleaned from Ken Robinson's book has positively affected me both personally and professionally. It opened my eyes to how flawed our educational model currently is, while also providing a clear path with set directives as to how we can come together as a community to improve it. My favorite assignment from the course was 2.3 chapter 6 “What’s Worth Knowing” because I am interested in my school's process for deciding what should be taught and who should decide. This is a conversation I've had with my coworkers, friends, and fellow teachers countless times, so it was nice having the opportunity to share my thoughts on the topic!

This course will get you thinking about how you need to step out of your comfort zone to enable creativity to take over. Education needs some reevaluation, and this course gives the opportunity for you to imagine the perfect school. The discussion boards were engaging and the assignments kept me on my toes!
