How can teachers inspire learning in the K-12 classroom? Enhance student achievement by pairing strategies with course content. Instructional Strategies to Inspire Learning is designed for teachers to implement Robert Marzano's nine strategies with additional McREL 2010 research to increase achievement. Teachers will apply a framework for instructional planning with strategies that creates an engaging classroom environment that inspires learning. In our diverse and linguistically rich classrooms the strategies are effective and valued tools for teachers. The strategies can be taught to in person or to virtual classrooms. Teachers will gather resources from videos of classrooms applyiing the strategies.  This course aligns the Common Core State Standards in English Language Arts and the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards.

NOTE: Required book must be purchased separately.

This course is applicable towards the Curriculum Design and Assessment Certificate and Student Engagement Certificate.
