Really great ideas and resources, and I love that the course assignments forced me to find new ways to get my students to think critically. However, some of the research and wording is starting to feel dated. Lots of articles and references to the early 2000s and 2010s.

Thought provoking course. I gathered a lot of new ideas for how to engage students in my classroom for the coming school year. I would recommend it to a friend. The formatting/links for some assignments was a bit archaic.

The instructor answered my questions clearly and quickly. She also graded my submitted assignments within 2-3 days. She provided encouraging and helpful feedback on my submitted work. The course structure provided useful resources. The assignments were clear and contained grading rubrics, minimizing any confusion as to the professor's expectations. The content is relevant and the outcomes are very applicable to my classroom. The relationship between current education standards, 21st Century skills and brain-based learning allows application of modern neuroscience to our classrooms. Thinking to learn and skill based education, as opposed to outdated content based education, will improve all teachers' classrooms.
