This course gave me a deeper understanding of developmentally appropriate science instruction for young learners that I can now utilize when creating and teaching science lessons and activities for my students. Excellent course!

I had a great experience in my Science for Young Learners course. Diane Young has helped me to be a better teacher of science as well as exposing me to helpful information, strategies, and thinking, that will benefit my students tremendously.

I really enjoyed this class and found it very informative. I am excited to implement some more science along with the strategies taught in this course into my own classroom in the near future.

This course was way more in-depth than some of my others. It took a lot longer to complete, but I feel prepared to use the information. I would like more ideas of ways to include physical and earth science. Also, instructions would be helpful of how to upload power points when Moodle restricts the size to so little.
