A child not engaged is a child not learning. This truth drove my passion to develop engaging curriculum and effective presentation skills that I love to share with others. I’ve been in education for over 20 years as a middle school and high school teacher as well as a district-level curriculum director and university professor. I’m a frequent speaker at local and national conferences where I share my expertise in visual presentations and technology-empowered learning. I’m the proud father of two sons and the husband of a lovely wife, also an educator. Together, we enjoy adventures in global travel. My wife and I currently teach at Korea International School in Seoul, South Korea.

Professional Experience: I taught math, physical education, computer applications, and broadcast journalism in high school and middle school for 15 years. This year I teach filmmaking and desktop publishing. I was a site and district administrator in curriculum and technology integration for 15 years. Founded the Slick Rock Student Film Festival in San Joaquin Valley, CA. I've taught in public school and private schools. I've taught in China. I've been published in education magazines and spoken at several state and national conferences.
