Dr. Kristyne Landis

I wanted to be a teacher since I was five years old. As I grew older, it became a desire to work with students with special needs. I am passionate about helping kids find success. I firmly believe that every child can learn and as educators, it is our job to help them do that by meeting them where they are in the moment. As Rita Pearson once said, "Every child deserves a champion, an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection, and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be." I look forward to working with Fresno Pacific CPD participants to equip them for empowering their students to be all they can be in this world.

Professional Experience: I have over 16 years of experience as a dedicated educator and leader across general and special education, curriculum coordination, and school administration. I have developed and implemented K-12 academic programming, supported inclusive education practices, and led cross-functional teams to improve instructional quality and student outcomes. As a classroom teacher, I created engaging and differentiated lessons across subjects for students across all grade levels. As a special education leader, I authored individualized academic plans, trained and coached educators, and ensured compliance with Department of Education regulations. I also founded and led a nonprofit school, guiding it through the 501(c)(3) process.
