I am currently Director of Academic Development and a faculty member at Fresno Pacific University. I am responsible for all course offerings and marketing through the Office of Continuing Education, which includes identifying and developing new programs, courses, and instructors who are passionate about Christian higher education. I actively teach graduate, undergraduate, and professional development online courses for the university.

Personal Experience: I am active in several professional organizations, held the positions of Vice President of Health Education and Vice President of Fitness and Wellness for Southwest District of AAHPERD (now SHAPE America), and have served on numerous ad hoc professional committees. I have published articles in a number of professional journals and am regularly invited to speak at international, national, and regional conferences.

Honors and Awards: Outstanding Teaching Award from FPU, Several Product Innovation awards and an ICARE Award from McKesson, International Graduate Student Award from AWHP 

Publications: I have published articles in American Journal of Health Behavior, American Journal of Health Promotion, and National Strength and Conditioning Journal.

Favorite Activities: During my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family. My hobbies include photography, reading, traveling, and maintaining a physically active lifestyle. I believe that a key component to living healthier is balancing the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of life.

Family Info: I have a loving and supportive wife, Amber, and two incredible children - a daughter, Denali and a son, Kenai
