Cris Sexton

I have been in education for 15 years, teaching subjects ranging from chemistry, biology, and physical science to algebra, geometry, precalculus, and calculus. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Middle School Education (Math and Science) from Northern Kentucky University and a Master of Arts in Education with an emphasis on Teacher Leadership from the University of the Cumberlands. Currently, I serve as the Middle and High School Principal, overseeing curriculum and leading accreditation visits—experiences I find inspiring because I get to learn from other schools while guiding our own. I am passionate about teacher leadership, professional development, and mentoring educators, helping them grow into confident, research-driven leaders who positively impact students and school culture.
