I love learning and teaching all ages. I have taught in tradional and Montessori classrooms, been a volunteer art teacher in my kids' elementary classrooms, and have been teaching in Children's ministry in our church as a Sunday School teacher and VBS Leader for many years. I am a self-taught home cook and have an interest in Nutrition and Health related topics. I am passionate about Health in all its forms (physical, relationship, emotional, financial, spiritual) because I believe it is key to a fulfilling life.  

Professional Experience: I have been a preschool teacher in both traditional and Montessori classrooms.  I have worked in aftercare programs with children from preschool through 2nd grade.

Personal Experience: I have been an Elementary Sunday School teacher and VBS leader at my home church since 2012. I was a volunteer art teacher for my kids' classrooms when they were in elementary school.

Recommended Reading: I recommend doing any in-person group bible study. In a group, you will grow even more in your biblical understanding, fellowship, and relationship with the LORD.

Favorite Bible Verse: Jeremiah 7:17 ~ "Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is."

Favorite Activities: Cooking, hiking, crocheting, and spending time with my family and dog.

Family Info: My husband Andy and I have been married since 1999 and we have two beautiful college-aged kids, our daughter Denali and our son Kenai. Both are named after places in Alaska.
