Interventology is an interdisciplinary approach to academic intervention focused on:
- Noticing patterns in learning and participation
- Analyzing the conditions shaping those patterns
- Designing responsive instructional systems that keep student learning trajectories open
Rather than positioning students as problems to be fixed, this course positions inequitable outcomes as design challenges. Participants will apply three design lenses:
Prevent->Interrupt->Intervene
Through structured inquiry, data analysis, and collaborative design, leadership teams will construct a Site-Based Response Plan aligned to:
- California State Standards
- College readiness expectations
- Equity-centered instructional design principles
