This is a fully online workshop and is able to be started at any time.
This course focuses on instructing diverse student groups in your classroom. It covers teaching the reading process, including phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary development, and comprehension strategies to cater to the needs of all students wherever they are, on the reading continuum including struggling, at grade level and advanced readers. Reading groups are fluid and interchangeable based on theoretical principles of observation and responsive teaching.
