EmpowerU's Educator Mental Health and Resilience Training is a 40-module, self-paced course that provides educators with evidence-based strategies and personalized coaching to enhance their wellbeing, build their resilience, and create emotionally safe, resilient classrooms.
By strengthening educator wellness, the program empowers teachers to effectively support student persistence, emotional regulation, and academic success.
This course is especially impactful for educators facing burnout, rising levels of student anxiety, and increased classroom disruption. It helps them "put the oxygen mask on themselves first"-prioritizing their own wellbeing so they can model healthy coping strategies and create a culture of stability and growth in their schools.
Rooted in behavioral science, the course equips educators with strategies to:
- Strengthen their emotional regulation and stress management skills
- Model and teach pro-social behaviors and mental wellness habits to students
- Improve classroom culture by creating psychological safety
Each participant is paired with a master's degree-level EmpowerU instructor who provides asynchronous feedback, helping educators apply course content to real-life situations. This personalized support bridges the gap between theory and practice - turning insights into action.
