Registrations must be approved by Dr. Uyeno (see email link below) and are restricted to Central Unified School District and Golden Valley Unified School District.
Transition to Quantitative Reasoning Professional Learning was developed for mathematics teachers to build students with 21st Century skills necessary to meet the mathematical thinking and problem-solving expectations of higher education courses and workplace requirements.
Sessions will focus on the targets above and include collaborative learning tasks, building classroom structure, developing a growth mindset, and providing effective feedback.
Participants will gain content knowledge related to the secondary California State Mathematical Standards, Common Core Standards, and EL Implementation.
