This interactive and engaging PLC is specifically designed for secondary theatre teachers. Connect with colleagues from across the county as we explore our creativity, share best practices, and improve our performance and technical theatre skills! Whether you took part in 2025-26 or are new to the PLC, ALL ARE WELCOME.
The four sessions will continue the work from last year with all new projects and focus areas. This school year, our community will focus on expanding your director's toolkit and refreshing your secondary theatre curriculum. Together, we will dive into practical staging techniques, demystify technical theatre logistics on a public school budget, and tackle real-world challenges in play selection and rehearsal management. Through collaborative activities and guest masterclasses and presenters, you will walk away with ready-to-use scene work, staging strategies, and a network of local theatre colleagues to lean on all year long. Plus, we will use Canva to publish a shared resource guide featuring our best performance exercises, warmups, games and production tips!
